dasso.XTR decking, porch flooring and siding all receive a single coat of WOCA exterior oil at the factory. This gives the boards their color as well as provides some surface protection. It typically wears off the board faces during or shortly after the construction phase and when exposed to sun, rain, dirt, and wear.
dasso.XTR behaves like a natural building material and if left untreated, will turn a silver-grey patina after about 12-18 months. Therefore, dasso.XTR should be maintained similar to exotic hardwoods. Please note that lumber and panels come unfinished and will need to be finished after installation.
